3D Printers of the World Unite

There are a many rganizations that work to promote, teach and generally help the world of 3D printing grow. Therefore this category of the 3D Printing Business Directory lists national and international trade associations. Such commercial initiatives unite more companies with a common intent. As much as governmental organizations serve to help state-run institutions connect with private 3D printing ventures and viceversa.

This category of the directory also includes educational institutions, such as Universities all over the world, that are focusing on 3D printing. These are as horizontal as the industry itself. Diverse applications within departments range from bioengineering and regenerative medicine to advanced architecture, engineering, product design, material science, robotics and more.

One particular subcategory lists all those organizations that leverage the unique “open source” nature of many 3D printing technologies. For example the RepRap project and all the innovations and groups and online communities that emerged from it.
