Amalia Team Italia

Team Italia aims at bringing together the Italian academic and industrial capabilities, that have already an impressive track record in space exploration and planetary missions, by exploiting the knowledge and facilities available at Thales Alenia Space, Compagnia Generale per lo Spazio, Technosystem Developments, Politecnico di Milano, Politecnico di Torino, Università di Roma La Sapienza and Università di Napoli Federico II, working together under the team leadership of Prof. Amalia Ercoli Finzi. The Team holds all skills and experience to meet the challenge put forward by Google and X PRIZE Foundation, while the real innovative challenge will be in mobilizing resources beyond the traditional space community and without public funding, with the comprehensiveness of the Team and the reputation of the individual members being the guarantee to potential sponsors.
