BEDROCK 3D manufactures FFF/FDM 3D printing filaments in the Netherlands, continuing the material line formerly known as Ultrafuse under BASF Forward AM.

Profile Description

BEDROCK 3D, operated by Forward AM Technologies Netherlands B.V., traces its roots to Innofil3D, founded in Emmen in 2013 by Jeroen Wiggers to develop and produce prime-quality FFF 3D printing filaments. Innofil3D was acquired by BASF in 2017 and became BASF Forward AM, later continuing as an independent entity under the Forward AM name after BASF sold its 3D printing solutions business in 2023-2024. Following Stratasys’s 2025 acquisition of parts of Forward AM’s German entity, the Dutch production team, based in Emmen, relaunched independently as BEDROCK 3D with backing from a Dutch investor, keeping the same staff, facility, and material formulations previously sold as Ultrafuse. The company produces a broad filament portfolio spanning standard materials (PLA, PET, ABS, PP, rPET, BVOH), advanced engineering polymers (ASA, PPSU, PC/ABS FR, glass- and carbon-fiber-reinforced grades), and flexible TPUs, serving makers, resellers, and industrial 3D printing users, and is ISO 9001 certified.
