Profile Description

CONIFY has established its own network of most suitable procurement options in terms of quality/cost benefit and availability and an agile and responsive powder supply chain from EU powder producers and atomization plants. Powder procurement is based on quality-cost-availability criteria and is initiated by efficient screening and characterization of samples from different suppliers to ensure high-quality for AM materials & component manufacturing according to the requirements set from the end-use application and AM technologies to be employed (electron beam PBF, laser DED). Additionally, CONIFY employs in-house dedicated powder refurbishment & recycling protocols and facilities to recycle and rejuvenate un-fused metal powders from AM machine owners to restore near-virgin-quality properties and provide an alternative route for seamless material supply.

An open, high-performance open laser powder bed platform is also included in our available equipment, ideal for validating novel metal powders which supports preset process recipes as well as full control of all process parameters. We are capable of fully customizing process monitoring and it offers the option of user-configurable lasers/optics. Compatible materials include Aluminum alloys (AlSi10Mg), Bronze, Cobalt Chrome (Co-Cr-Mo), Copper, Nickel Superalloys (In 625, In718), Refractory Metals & Alloys (W, WC-Co12, Ta, W-Cu), Stainless Steels (316L, 15-5, 17-4, 400 series), Titanium (TiCP, Ti64), Tool Steels (Maraging M300, H13).
