The Finnish Fast Manufacturing Association was established in 1998 to promote the reputation of manufacturing (earlier express manufacturing) in material production in Finland. The association acts as an impartial channel for the transfer of know-how in the manufacture of the latest material to Finland.
The purpose of the association is to promote and develop the exchange of information on manufacturing know-how, collaboration and mutual material, and to promote the industry’s reputation in Finland.
FIRPA is a member of GARPA (Global Alliance of Rapid Prototyping Associations, www.garpa.org ).
The winner of the 3D Print Competition has survived. The winner was Antti Korpi’s work with an individual knuckle handle. The audience also voted for the same work as their favorite. Congratulations to the winner! Firpa and the organizers of the competition wish to thank all the competitors who are interested in the competition. Hope we can see your work and we’ll continue to hit you in 3D printing!
