Comprised of Sirius 1, Sirius 13 and Sirius 15, this range will be dedicated to launching small satellites weighing up to 800 kg into a 600 km SSO orbit. This diversity of launch vehicles will allow for greater performance scope, aiming to launch various types of missions and provide agile, low-cost and sustainable launch services to our customers. Concerned about our environmental impact, we are reducing our environmental footprint through the industrial processes implemented in the design of our launch vehicles and their propulsion (LOX / LCH4 propellants).
We use a maximum of space-qualified COTS components to obtain a launch cost of $10-15K per kg before reuse, which will be reduced by half after reuse. We also aim to develop 100% reusable launch vehicles to make space safer and further reduce our environmental impact. Sirius Space Services is supported by CNES, Air Liquide and Safran Data Systems, and was laureate of the “Mini and micro launchers” call for projects (AAP) as part of France 2030, launched in December 2021.
