In March 2013, the creation of the FabLab Smart Materials began with the purchase of three 3D printers and scanning equipment. These early devices have shown interest in this type of platform industrialists, students and the general public. Given its scientific and technological environment , this FabLab focus its development on smart materials by surface functionalization and the implementation of sensors or printed circuits inside the product.
