Chinese company Flashforge offers a new FDM 3D printer with IDEX kinematics, available in three versions with different extruders.
The new system is offered in three variants with the same usable volume (400x350x500 mm), but with different extruders, sharpened for 3D-printing with different materials. The Creator 4-F comes with an Extruder-F head with a maximum temperature of 265°C and is designed to work with elastomeric materials. Creator 4-A has an Extruder-HT with a hotend temperature up to 320°C and is designed to work with ABS, ACA, PLA, polycarbonates, polyamides and polypropylene. The third variant, Creator 4-S, is equipped with Extruder-HS with high-temperature hotend heated up to 360°С and allows to work with carbon-filled composite materials.
3D-printer is equipped with a heated to 120 ° C table and thermostatic working chamber with heating to 65 ° C, which provides a stable background temperature when working with materials showing a high degree of shrinkage. The kinematics are IDEX with independent positioning of the two extruders along the X-axis and use linear guides in the horizontal plane.
Optional equipment includes a HEPA filter, a seven-inch touchscreen display and a built-in camera for remote monitoring of workflows. Pricing is quoted upon request. Additional information is available on the manufacturer’s official website.
