The American IC3D is a company that specializes in complex orders in the field of additive manufacturing – from creation of consumables and software to custom manufacturing of 3D equipment and production of products on FDM-printers of its own design.

IC3D Virago 700 is the company’s first serial 3D printer. The device has an enclosed housing and is equipped with two independent IDEX extruders that support simultaneous printing with different materials. This solution allows in some cases to significantly accelerate the production of products – this applies to parallel and mirror-symmetric printing modes.
The maximum heating temperature of the extruders with dual drive reaches 500 degrees. This makes it possible to work with a wide range of refractory and special engineering materials. This includes polycarbonate, polypropylene, nylon, thermopolyurethane, and fiber-reinforced composites.
The set of available nozzles includes products with a working diameter of 0.4 to 2.5 millimeters. The company also offers options for working with highly abrasive materials.
The IC3D Virago 700’s footprint is 600x700x785 millimeters. A welded steel frame weighing 340 kilograms and precision kinematics components ensure stable, continuous 24/7 production. Optional features include oven heating and uninterrupted power supply systems.
The working platform is equipped with a removable magnetized surface and can be heated up to 125 degrees.
To prepare digital models for printing, the manufacturer recommends using the Simplify3D slicer.
