3D scanner manufacturer Calibry International UG (Thor3D) announced the launch of an NFT project aimed at reducing the company’s plastic footprint and raising awareness of the environmental sustainability of the 3D industry.
A few months ago, the company received defective cases for its Calibry 3D scanners. The manufacturer quickly replaced the defective batch with a new one but this incident made Calibry International think about the plastic footprint that every company leaves behind.
To reduce waste and support the efforts of environmental organizations, Calibry International decided to turn hulls into art objects and place their NFTs on the OpenSea platform. The proceeds will be donated to Global Footprint Network, an international nonprofit organization working for sustainability and biodiversity. You can participate in the ecoproject until July 13 of this year, and the collection can be viewed at this link. More information about the project is available on the company’s official website.
