Starting operations in 2018, DDDROP Brasil introduced itself to the market in the first half of the year at the Inside 3D trade show in São Paulo . Since then, it has only grown, acquiring clients from various cities across Brazil and across several industry sectors. Based in São Paulo, the DDDROP team serves any region and stands out for its support of client projects, whether in machine configuration, testing of new materials, or even in the best 3D design that optimizes printing in additive manufacturing.

Profile Description

In 2004, a group of ambitious engineers, led by Alfred Uytdewilligen, founder of CAD2M , saw the potential of 3D printing and decided to implement the technology in their daily work. The team had used different machines for many years, but never managed to find the perfect balance between quality and price. They wanted an industrial 3D printer built for professional use, but also affordable. At the time, the market offered only two categories: large machines that delivered industrial results but were out of budget, or smaller, affordable machines that were unable to deliver the reliable results needed in the business and R&D markets. After years of frustration, the small group of engineers decided to do what any engineer would do –

After researching market needs and developing a groundbreaking new machine, the team was ready to showcase it to the world. In 2013, the first prototype was ready.

Breaking down the barrier between idea and reality. dddrop has enabled small businesses with limited budgets to own their own professional 3D printers and stop outsourcing the process to specialized companies. Fast forward to 2020, after years of collecting data, experimenting, and talking to the people who operate 3D printers daily, and we’ve created a beautiful new machine.
