"The Fab Lab UNI is the most important in Peru to bring the latest art initiative, digital manufacturing, design tools and knowledge related to the invention, innovation and higher technical education in Peru and South America, for all segments of the society.
The Fab Lab UNI was created in 2010 by the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (iaac.net) and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development (aecid.es) which finances technical training and installation of the first Fab Lab in South America at the Faculty of Architecture at the National University of Engineering (uni.edu.pe)."
