HEXOstudios, developed by CODE BROS. LLC, is a native macOS application for makers and 3D printing users who need to manage large collections of 3D model files. It turns STL, 3MF, STEP, OBJ, AMF, PLY and USDZ files into one browsable visual library and is designed to handle libraries of more than 200,000 files. For 3D printing workflows, the app detects slicers installed on the computer and sends supported files to them in one click. It recognizes multi-plate 3MF projects, and its File Passport feature shows plate names, object counts, filaments and print-time data when a file contains them. HEXOstudios also previews G-code toolpaths. For CAD files, its HEXOstpEngine generates thumbnails, previews and interactive 3D views of STEP and STP files, and the HEXOforge converter exports models to STL, OBJ or PLY. The app does not create or edit geometry; it organizes, previews and converts existing files.
