Our activities are focused on the extraction, processing and refining of industrial minerals. In particular quartz, kaolin, feldspar, wollastonite and mica are processed into more than 700 different quality products and sold in 50 countries.
Every day we are glad that our raw materials are making a valuable contribution in numerous areas of application. We see ourselves as efficient and reliable partners with a social and ecological responsibility.
In the future, more and more technical articles will be produced by AM (Additive Manufacturing) techniques for prototypes and for pre and small series production. In the field of materials used, the trend is towards functionally added compounds in order to solve the known problems – different shrinkage of the successive layers, shrinkage during thermal stress of the component part and delamination from the platform due to distortion.
The most important printing processes in which our products can be used are stereolithography and the Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) process.
Our investigations with the widely used materials ABS and PLA show improved properties through the use of our fillers in the compounds. In the shrinkage and the heat distortion of the component as well as the peeling off the construction platform better values could be achieved.
