The 3D Printing Association

The 3D Printing Association is a start-up association with the mission to provide an independent, member driven platform to advance the additive manufacturing industry in the wider Europe.

Its vision is based on the following principles:

• To be the B2B point of reference for companies in the Additive Manufacturing business to connect, network, interact, share information and collaborate on common objectives
• To be the voice of the additive manufacturing eco-system on regulatory affairs, awareness and education in Europe
• To be the leading platform that contributes to a healthy development of additive manufacturing
• To provide a transparent, member driven and professionally supported association platform.

3DPA was originally founded in 2013 as an information platform for the additive manufacturing industry, but is re-establishing itself as a real European industry association set to launch early 2017.

3DPA will provide an environment to deal with issues that cannot be dependent on single industries or companies, but should be discussed on a neutral independent open platform. The association is open for members to join, not just companies but also partners like universities and media through several levels of membership.

3DPA’s current levels of membership include:

1. Basic membership (€ 250 excl. VAT p.a.)
2. Plus the possibility to join one or more of the following Project Forums (€ 500 excl. VAT per forum p.a.):
   1. Education and development
   2. Standardisation and best practices
   3. Promotion and marketing
